HIRING: 2 Flex-Time Positions [Paid]

This has been THE BUSIEST years for ‘Will Travel for Vegan Food’ to-date. :)

As such, I’ve given a lot of thought to the management and expansion of the brand, and it’s a matter of fact that I can no longer do it alone. As a result, I’ve created the following commission-based positions.

While specific experience, related to the respective positions listed below, is important I put more emphasis on working with people who are passionate (like, really passionate), work best independently (vs. having someone guide you, over your shoulder), are super detail-oriented, and fully committed to the brand and your designated projects within.

Skills can be learned but inherent passion and dedication – not so much.

1) MEDIA & PR STRATEGIST

One of the extensions of the upcoming book tour will be aligning local and regional media interviews and features, at each of the tour stops along the way.

The ‘Will Travel for Vegan Food’ Media & PR Strategist will be tasked with:
> Reaching out to local media (TV, Radio, Podcasters, Bloggers, etc.) prior to each book tour stop.
> Scheduling interviews and/or features with as many local media as possible.
> Representing the brand in a positive and professional manner; while being attentive, kind, and detailed with each contact.

Hours + Compensation/Benefits:
> Anticipated 5-10 hours per week.
> Commission-based ($25 for *every* single feature/interview booked and scheduled).
> You’ll have your own WTFVF email address, work from home/remotely/anywhere, make your own hours each week.
> Opportunity to travel with me to events, if you’d like.
> Potential to join the 2.0 international version of the trip in 2016.

2) SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR

I’m trying something new this year as part of the marketing and coaching side of my business:

While on the book tour I’ll be hosting mini events called “Guided Ideation Picnics.” These events will be made up of 8-12 people who sign up ahead of time, that are seeking business and project brainstorming and mentorship opportunities from me and involving the others who attend.

I’m seeking a solid Type A-ish, detail-oriented, and independently organized individual to plan locations for these mini events, and help book/sell tickets.

The Special Events Coordinator will be tasked with:
> Working with Kristin on what the Guided Ideation Picnics will entail/itinerary.
> Scout out and secure picnic-esque locations to host each event.
> Promote each event and help secure ticket sales, to each one.

Hours + Compensation/Benefits:
> Anticipated 2-6 hours per week.
> Commission-based (25% of every single ticket sold).
> You’ll have your own WTFVF email address, work from home/remotely/anywhere, make your own hours each week.
> Opportunity to travel with me to events, if you’d like.
> Potential to join the 2.0 international version of the trip in 2016.
