Detailed daily breakdown:
ARRIVE (JUNE 3) – Check-In & Orientation
Rest up my friends! You may have spent some quality time on a few flights at this point so feel free to unpack and unwind before we meet up in the hotel lobby at 6:30 p.m. for orientation.
DAY 1 (JUNE 4) – Introduction to Bangkok + Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

Welcome to Bangkok, AKA the ‘Land of Smiles.’ This bustling metropolis is teeming with life, offering a peek into its vibrant street culture tucked down small sois, and busy roads.
Early on this morning we are off with our Thai tour guide to see the colorful Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. On this day we will catch a glimpse into an ancient way of life and hop onto a longtail boat, slowly skimming by narrow canals, tall wooden houses on stilts, and busy stalls filled with locals selling their wares.
Our next stop will be Talad Rom Hoop, a local market packed with vendors selling fresh fruit, veggies, local snacks, clothing, and more.
You’ll get to see what makes this market so cool: a train track that runs directly through the market and the real life train that comes through eight times a day! A siren will go off and shoppers hop off the tracks while vendors quickly pack their goods and retract their awnings to co-exist with the train.
In the evening we will enjoy a wonderful vegan dinner at one of Giselle’s favorite vegan restaurants!
**INCLUDES BREAKFAST & DINNER**
DAY 2 (JUNE 5) – Touring The Grand Palace in Bangkok

In the morning we’ll hop on the BTS (local skytrain) with our Thai tour guide and journey to the Saphan Taksin Pier on the Chao Phraya River, and then onto some of the most iconic and well-known spots in the city- including the city’s most sacred Buddhist site, the Grand Palace (via ferry). We’ll also visit to the Reclining Buddha and more on this day-long walking tour. At night, you’re free to explore the energy and nightlife of the city!
**INCLUDES BREAKFAST & LUNCH**

After breakfast, the city is yours to explore. We’ll give you some suggestions but ultimately you get to choose how you want to spend the day. Whether it’s visiting bustling Chinatown, hopping on a water taxi to see markets outside the city, biking through the jungle (in the city!), or simply napping the day away, it’s completely up to you!
Later on we’ll meet up for a delicious vegan dinner together in town.
**INCLUDES BREAKFAST & DINNER**
DAY 4 (JUNE 7) – Fly to Koh Samui + Visit Wat Plai Laem

Good morning! Today we fly inside the country, from Bangkok to the tropical island of Koh Samui! After the temple walk we will make our way back to the hotel for a ‘free’ late afternoon/evening.
Optional: Take a walk through the busy Bophut night market.

Ang Thong National Marine Park is a natural archipelago of 42 islands in the Gulf of Thailand. It offers lush jungle, white-sandy beaches, limestone cliffs, and waterfalls. Today’s adventure includes Doi Inthanon, a stop at an incredible waterfall, lessons in coffee making, and lunch.
Once you’re back in town it’s time for a traditional Thai Massage!

What others are saying about Vegan Thailand Tours:
“I joined Vegan Thailand Tours with my mom, never having traveled like this before. From day one I could tell it would be an amazing trip. We had a perfect blend of attractions and activities mixed with relaxing. I also enjoyed how flexible our guides were if we maybe didn’t want to join in on an activity for the day. My favorite part of the trip was, of course, the food! Also, Doi Inthanon…I cannot wait to visit Bangkok and Chiang Mai again someday. When I do, I hope it’s through Vegan Thailand Tours.” – Sarah Rae, 2019 Vegan Thailand Tours Guest “My wife and I really enjoyed our trip to Thailand with Giselle from Mindful Wanderlust. The trip was well organized, the local guides great, the buses top-notch, the accommodations very nice and the vegan food outstanding. It was so enjoyable to have someone in charge who knows so many amazing vegan restaurants throughout the country. The freedom to eat whatever delectable dish was put in front of me – especially in a place so foreign – was addictive. I have missed my daily dose of Thai vegan food so much since returning home. Giselle is truly familiar with Thailand and I would not hesitate to recommend her tour!” – Dave Sumner, 2019 Vegan Thailand Tours Guest “I went on the Vegan Thailand Tours’ inaugural tour… oh what an adventure it was!! If you are interested in exploring more than just the standard tourist fare, I highly recommend [this tour]… If you are interested in ethical travel, if you want to see and experience the true culture of a country, if you are a wannabe (or an expert) connoisseur of food and drink, I promise you will not be disappointed. Giselle and [her co-host] have not only traveled the world, they have the added experience of living and working in Thailand. They curated a wonderful tour with the perfect amount of touristy stuff, cultural stuff, culinary delights, and free time to explore on your own. We had excellent Thai guides in each city and the perfect mix of planned itinerary with free time. They also provided a wealth of information on things to do our own, as well as valuable tips for being respectful and mindful of cultural differences. Book your [tour] now!! You won’t be disappointed!” – Yvonne Lopez, 2019 Vegan Thailand Tours Guest [When I] saw [this tour] I looked at the itinerary and shockingly affordable price and I had mine and my husband’s names on that list within 10 minutes. We hadn’t even been looking to go on a trip! Giselle…and her co-host helped us every step of the way, from explaining local customs to teaching us how to get around the cities on our free days. They took us to some truly remarkable places in Thailand. Doi Inthanon mountain in Chiang Mai touched me deeply enough that I was crying walking through the rain forest. Everyone knows Thailand is gorgeous and fascinating but what I didn’t know is that Thailand has a vibrant, thriving vegan food scene. Even the convenience stores have snacks with a Jay (vegan) symbol on them to make it even easier to find vegan food. Giselle used her knowledge of and familiarity with the country to take us to fantastic restaurants. The food was varied, unique, plentiful, and always delicious. Giselle made sure we had snacks for long site seeing days, encouraged us to try new things (I even ate durian), and were happy to answer any questions we had. She is thoroughly comfortable in Thailand and it shows. Plus, she’s a hoot to be around. This was my first trip to Asia and I could not be more pleased with my experience, my guides, my wonderful trip mates and my introduction to lovely Thailand. Don’t pass up this opportunity. – Vanessa Sumner, 2019 Vegan Thailand Tours Guest
