Adventures in Book Writing – Video Journal #1
Kristin | On 11, Mar 2014
There was a time, well… almost exactly 3 years ago actually, that I decided one of my life goals is to become a published author.
Little did I know it would become a reality so soon! And since it’s been a while since I’ve updated you guys on the book and how everything is going, I thought it would be fun to start a video journaling series that documents my writing process over the next few months.
To start, I made a short video that explains exactly how my book deal with Vegan Publishers came to be.
Your turn!
Have you ever written a book? Ever wanted to? I’d love any and all advice on how to do this book writing thing! Just leave a little ditty in the comments section below this post. :)
Also, if there are any questions you’d like me to answer in the next Book Writing Video Journal, please do let me know.
Thank you ever so much for your support and guidance.
Yours in writing like never before,
Kristin

book writing suggestion; …for me, some of my most constructive thinking, connecting and organizational thoughts come to ‘my’ mind during my sleep. I am not fully asleep since I know the thoughts going thru my mind. :-) That is when I turn on the light and start writing. Just a suggestion to consider while working on your book, along with getting professional assistance of course !

Congratulations on ticking off one of your goals in life! I’ve always wanted to be a writer myself. I started out as a poet and got a few of them published. I could only write poems after going through a break-up so that’s been a while. I recently talked to Vegan Publishers about one of my book ideas. They seemed somewhat interested but after contacting them again they decided not to pick it up. I will admit it was a pretty weak idea. I’m writing out a new idea now. One I think is much stronger and has a lot of potential so I’m excited about that. A questions I would like answered is how do you plan to organize all your thoughts into a book? Or how do you decide what layout to go with? I can’t wait for your book to come out. It’s a topic that is close to my heart. Best of luck with everything.

Congrats, Kristin! So happy for you!
I’ve never written a book, but I’ve been thinking about it quite a bit lately. Can’t wait to see more!
