Where In The Heck Have I Been?! adventures in first-time book writing – video journal #5

| On 02, Oct 2014

Hey Dudes,

Gah! I’ve been “away” for too long. Then again, if you’ve been staying tuned via Facebook and/or Instagram then it probably doesn’t seem like I’ve really been gone gone. Anywho, the good news is I’m finally emerging from the depths of book writing “bliss” with a big ol’ two arm stretch, yawn, and sigh of relief. The hard part is over: writing the friggin’ book. Haha .. and I’m officially ready to move into the FUN phase: MARKETING! W0ooo!! Well, almost ready.

Since we last “spoke” I jetted off from Fargo, North Dakota and spent a few weeks in Seattle, a week in Alaska (state #50 of my to-vist 50-state bucket list item), and then landed on the Big Island of Hawaii where I’ve been since early July. My primary goal for being here was to finish the book, and by golly I did it! I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to but I’m officially in the final round of edits and fingers crossed that the book will go to print in a few months. Eeee!!

I’ll have a bit more time to keep y’all in the loop as things unfold and the book release draws nearer. In the meantime, please feel free to send me any questions you have about book writing or how the process has been. That’ll be super helpful for creating future updates. Thanks friends!

Yours in [editing] like never before,
Kristin

Thank you so much, Diana!! :D Eeeee!! I’m super excited! :)

  2. Writing is hard but marketing is fun?! I think your head is on the opposite way to mine.

Haha.. well that IS where my passion lies. Marketing. It’s what I do for a living – teach others how to navigate marketing strategies for their work/art/business. :)
